Stellar is a product management tool built for teams that are tired of bloated, complex PM software. It sits at the intersection of Productboard (customer insights and prioritization) and Linear (speed and clean UX) — giving product teams clarity without the overhead.
The problem: existing product management tools are either too simple (just a backlog) or too complex (enterprise PM suites that require a consultant to set up). Stellar offers opinionated structure — roadmaps, feedback collection, prioritization frameworks — wrapped in an interface that's fast and enjoyable to use.
Dylan is the founder and sole designer, responsible for the product vision, brand identity, UX/UI design, and front-end development. The goal is to build the PM tool he always wished he had during his 9 years of product work.
What I did
- Founded the project and defined the product strategy
- Designed the complete product experience in Figma
- Created the brand identity and marketing site
- Built the roadmap visualization and planning interface
- Designed the feedback collection and prioritization system
- Developed the front-end with React and TypeScript
- Conducting user research with product teams
